Subject: Web storage/home network syncronization DropBox
http://www.getdropbox.com/tour

The Toronto Globe and Mail had a column for this software and server storage
facility today.
2Gb size is free
(9.00 mthly for very large storage)
The software appears to be in an ongoing development and the author(s) are
present in the forums daily so any bumps are attended to in short order.
I haven't got into uploading files yet but it looks like a work around for
sharing larger images with associates (images, files etc)
With the software on multiple computers files can be kept in synchronization
in the home network situation.

I checked the Microsoft software of a similar nature and a note on that site
said their version was going to change in December. The new version will not
handle the stored files of the older version. I didn't bother downloading
that to compare.
