What prompts the unchurched to accept Jesus? How can we more
effectively witness to others? As a full-time minister, I have often
been struck with the difficulty people have in reaching the unchurched
(myself included). As a result, I am always looking for ways to lead
people to Jesus.
I am launching this discussion topic so that we can learn from each
other. How can we lead a life that pursues the Great Commission? What
has worked for you? What obstacles have you overcome? It would be good
to hear some practical success stories.
You can also take a brief survey to help answer these questions at:
http://docshawn.com
Once the survey is completed, you will have the option of having the
results sent to you.

Why do you feel the need to prosletyse or to lead people to Jesus
anyway? I mean, we all know about those that worship Christ. It's not
like the 'unchurched' are unaware of the opportunity that exists.
Again, why do you feel the need to do this?

So you want to become another prefabricator of the truth and
spread lies a deceit among innocent people. You are in the wrong
place and it is to be hoped you do not fetch up anywhere near me,
or you will soon get your marching orders.

Have Jesus preach a sermon at a venue with substantial seating
capacity and people will attend without your leading them to him.
You might try some of the other pastor's web sites like
jentesenfranklin.org or tdjakes.org
both are ministers on a national scale with large churches - and they tell
how to be saved on their web sites.

I'd say, hone your indoctrination techniques - use the strap if
necessary to beat children into obedience. Bring back the Inquisition.
Rig elections so that only Christian candidates get elected. Relocate
ministers and priests if they get caught diddling children. That sort
of thing.

Naw! they have just perfected the *art of intimidation* to where you are
scared you are going to *hell* if you don't bow down their way. Nice??
